Our Programs
Infant Care
Our Infant Program provides a nurturing, loving start for babies ages 6 weeks to 12 months. Using the Frog Street Infant Curriculum, we support each child’s early physical and cognitive development through hands-on play, sensory exploration, and age-appropriate learning activities.
Our teachers gently guide infants through important milestones like sitting up, crawling, pulling to stand, and taking those exciting first steps. Every child follows a feeding and nap schedule created together by parents and teachers, ensuring comfort, consistency, and routine.
Families receive updates throughout the day so you always know how your little one is doing. In our cozy, safe environment, your baby is cared for, engaged, and supported every step of the way.
Toddler 1
Our Toddler 1 classroom is designed especially for our freshly turned one-year-olds who are eager to explore, learn, and grow. At this stage, children are beginning to use their words, build their vocabulary, and express their needs more clearly. Our teachers support early language development through songs, stories, conversations, and play.
Children also practice important self-help skills like using utensils, following simple directions, and listening during group activities. With a consistent daily routine, toddlers begin to feel secure, confident, and ready for the transitions that come with growing up.
Toddler 2
Our Toddler 2 classrooms are nurturing, structured spaces that support growing communication and social skills. At this age, children are learning to express themselves, use their words, and build positive relationships with others. Our teachers model gentle communication, encourage toddlers to identify and share their feelings, and help them practice using “nice hands” and safe behaviors.
Through guided play, stories, songs, and interactive activities, students strengthen their language skills, learn how to communicate their needs, and develop respectful interactions with peers. Toddler 2 is all about helping children find their voice, build confidence, and learn the foundations of healthy social skills.
Toddler 3
Our Toddler 3 classroom is a supportive, encouraging space designed to help children grow in confidence and independence. This room focuses on potty training, with teachers guiding each child through the process at their own pace. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, we work closely with families to help students master this important milestone.
As children gain independence in self-care routines, they also build the social, emotional, and learning skills they need for a smooth transition into preschool. Our Toddler 3 room is all about celebrating progress, building confidence, and helping each child take the next big step in their early learning journey.
Preschool 1
Our preschool 1 classroom is a welcoming, supportive space where children learn through hands-on exploration and meaningful routines. At this stage, students practice early writing skills, including learning to write their names and correctly hold pencils and scissors. We also focus on important social and emotional skills like listening, taking turns, sharing, communicating with others, using gentle hands, and walking safely in the classroom. With a balance of structure, creativity, and play, our preschoolers grow more independent and confident as they prepare for kindergarten and beyond.
Preschool 2
Our preschool 2 classroom is a comfortable, engaging place where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow within a consistent daily routine. We promote out-of-the-box thinking by offering hands-on activities, creative problem-solving opportunities, and meaningful experiences that spark curiosity.
As children build independence and confidence, our teachers introduce early academic skills that lay a strong foundation for kindergarten readiness. From language and math concepts to social skills and critical thinking, we help each child prepare for a successful transition into kindergarten.
In this nurturing, imaginative space, students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn each day.
Summer Enrichment
Our summer enrichment program is nine-week program for students ages 5–13. The 2025 theme, “A Different World,” was inspired by the 90’s sitcom, encouraging students to celebrate individuality, embrace education, and imagine endless possibilities for their futures.
Each week, students participated in morning academics focused on reading, writing, and math, followed by afternoon enrichment that blended creativity and culture through art, music, gardening, and STEM activities. Our weekly field trips offered exciting hands-on experiences across Pittsburgh, while Fishing Wednesdays became a favorite tradition.
Through our program, students not only gained new skills but also built friendships, boosted their confidence, and developed a love for learning in a supportive, family-oriented environment. Our dedicated staff and community partners worked together to ensure every child felt valued and included.
Brightwheel
We use an app called Brightwheel to ensure that our families are informed on the daily. Brightwheel allows parents to easily stay updated on their child’s learning, meals, naps, and milestones in real time from their phones. Teachers share daily reports, photos, and videos so parents never miss a special moment or achievement. The app also simplifies communication by allowing secure messaging between families and staff, streamlining billing, attendance, and important announcements all in one place. With Brightwheel, our families enjoy peace of mind knowing they’re always just a tap away from their child’s day at Each One Teach One.
Frog Street Curriculum
We utilize the Frog Street curriculum like Pittsburgh Public Schools. This curriculum supports every child growth through purposeful play and hands-on learning. Designed around early brain development and social-emotional foundations, Frog Street provides age-appropriate lessons that nurture curiosity, confidence, and creativity from infancy through preschool.
Each week, our teachers use engaging themes, songs, stories, and activities to strengthen language, literacy, math, and motor skills while encouraging a love for learning. The curriculum also integrates family involvement and cultural diversity, aligning perfectly with our mission to create a joyful, inclusive, and developmentally rich environment where every child can thrive.
