COTRAIC Support for School-Age Students Affected by Opioids
Children facing difficult circumstances deserve safe spaces, dependable adults, and opportunities to keep growing.
Through our partnership with the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center, or COTRAIC, Each One Teach One supports eligible school-age students whose families or lives have been affected by the opioid crisis.
This partnership helps create access to:
Safe and structured care outside school hours
Positive relationships with trusted adults
Enriching activities and learning opportunities
Social and emotional support
Consistent routines
A welcoming environment where children can simply be children
Community-based afterschool programs can provide stability and positive connections for young people experiencing challenging family circumstances. The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention recognizes mentoring and community support as important resources for youth affected by opioid and other substance misuse.
COTRAIC serves Native and non-Native families throughout Greater Pittsburgh and works to connect individuals and families with supportive programs and resources.

Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts at Our Garfield Location
Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts provides high-quality prekindergarten programming for eligible 3- and 4-year-old children. Through this partnership, families at our Garfield location may access early education designed to build the academic and social skills children need for a successful transition to school.
